Information

AjiByrd, is a DJ and digger duo based in Montreal, Canada. They have been building their collection of Latin American, Carribean, African and Jazz records for the past 15 years and have been sharing them on local radio shows. Dialoging with the diaspora culture native in the city, they work to build a web between disparate cultures, bringing sounds from far-flung corners into a vividly multi-cultural sound-space.

For this guestmix they’ve put together a selection of obscure but mind-blowing Jazz oriented pieces stemming from the Carribean, Brazil, North America, South Africa and more with a lot of soul. Sit back and enjoy.
