First in a loose series of Mini Concerts in our new space – small is beautiful! Very happy to welcome Jason Kolàr (Stroom / Dauw) for the opening – he’s been a friend of dublab for many years and we’re big fans of his sound explorations that navigate around ambient, Fourth World and generative music – always trying to build a porous bridge between them.

For more than a decade, Jason Kolàr aka Cristian Subirà has been an active member of Barcelona’s underground music scene; organizing concerts, releasing tapes and records, playing in bands, hiding behind different aliases or co-founding dublab.es.
Behind him, more than 150 live shows in different places in Europe, the United States and Japan, sharing stage with Daniel Higgs, Ariel Kalma, The Space Lady, Lucky Dragons, Les Halles, Bryce Hackford, Julianna Barwick or Goat, as well as appearances at festivals such as Sónar, Atonal Berlin, Meakusma, Online Radio Festival Amsterdam or Baleapop.
We highly recommend checking his releases on Stroom, Dauw and other labels, full of playful yet melancholic music using synths and acoustic instruments – dreamy, stripped down and minimal.
