Zen Sounds is a show for ambient, jazz and electronic music. It focuses on soundscapes and compositions suitable for deep listening instead of capitalist productivity music dissolving into the background.
Zen Sounds is the playground of veteran music journalist Stephan Kunze. It’s also the title of his Substack newsletter on experimental music. The show tracklist is loosely based on the last issue(s) of the newsletter. Kunze lives and works between Berlin and his rural hideout in Western Pomerania.
